Getting Started
You can book directly through our website by clicking "Book an Appointment" on any page, or by chatting with Zabe, our AI intake assistant. You'll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details.
No referral is needed. You can book a consultation directly with our provider, undefined. We accept self-referrals for all of our services.
Have your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records ready. You'll also need a device with a camera and microphone for your telehealth visit. We recommend a quiet, private space.
All appointments are conducted via secure video call through Cal.com. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to join your session at the scheduled time.
Insurance & Billing
We accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid. Contact us if you're unsure whether your plan is covered.
We offer competitive self-pay rates for uninsured patients. Payment is collected at the time of service. Contact us for current pricing on consultations and follow-up visits.
If your insurance covers the visit, you'll only be responsible for any copay or deductible. For self-pay patients, payment is collected upfront. You'll receive a detailed receipt for your records.
Services & Treatment
We treat a wide range of conditions across three areas: mental health (anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more), primary care (hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, UTIs), and medical weight loss (GLP-1 medications like Wegovy and Ozempic).
Yes. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, undefined, can prescribe medications including psychiatric medications, antibiotics, chronic disease management drugs, and GLP-1 weight loss medications.
We evaluate each case individually. Some controlled medications may be prescribed after a thorough assessment, established patient relationship, and when clinically appropriate. We follow all DEA and state prescribing guidelines.
Our medical weight loss program includes an initial evaluation, lab work review, and a personalized treatment plan. If appropriate, we can prescribe GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro) with ongoing monitoring and follow-up appointments.
Appointments & Policies
We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday. Exact availability varies — check our booking page for current open slots.
You can cancel or reschedule through the link in your confirmation email, or contact us directly. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Unity Health is currently licensed to see patients in Maryland via telehealth. We cannot provide care to patients located outside of Maryland at the time of their appointment.
Absolutely. We are fully HIPAA-compliant. All video consultations are encrypted, and your medical records are stored securely. We never share your information without your explicit consent.
Technical & Access
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. You'll join your appointment through a link sent in your booking confirmation email.
If your connection drops, try refreshing your browser or switching to a different device. You can also reach us by email to reschedule. Technical issues won't count against your appointment time.
Zabe is our AI-powered intake assistant available on our website. Zabe can answer general questions about our services, help you find the right care, and book appointments for you — all in a conversational format.
